Not your typical garden variety lizard....

icequeen Jun 18, 2003 08:16 PM

Here is a recent picture of Dill.
You may or may not remember, she is the Ontario pet shop rescue that was losing her toes, and just generally receiving poor quality care. She has been with me since Easter weekend...and I believe she's happy, and healthy!
This is her sunning herself in my garden, a couple days ago.
She is never left unattended, and although in the picture it appears that the plants are right against her, they actually are not. She never tries to eat anything outside anyway...but just in case!
She is sitting on the down spout from the eavestrough, it seems to be her favourite place to sit while outside.

I just LOVE her to death! She is so sweet and gentle and...CUTE!

Congratulations Kim.
Dill is so lucky to have you...and you her, I think! I would LOVE one of these lizards...not possible in Australia unfortunately. Gotta love those toes (the ones she has left, that is!) May you have long and happy lives together

Kim
I am so glad that you were able to rescue "Dill". She is beautiful!! Good Luck with her.

This is Takuan, she has been with me since 2/7/03.

How big is Takuan? She seems quite large.

Dill is finally getting that curvey PTS figure! She was so thin compared to the pictures I've seen...but thankfully she's filling out now.

She is an average adult. The pic I took makes her look very big.

Dill will continue to fill out and get that "curvey" figure. She is very blessed to have an angel like you to care for her. They are such amazing reptiles. I love to just sit and watch Takuan when she is out. It seems as though she is surveying the entire room.
Again Good Luck!!
