I beg to differ!!! My male can put down JUMBO rats, or mediums three at a time! If the definition of the local term "Chicken Snake" is valid because a couple have eaten chickens, then my FWC's more than fall in as "ratsnakes"...lol...I've posted this pic in the rearfanged forum a couple of times, but here's my male....again.

lol well by definition, they're not.. They're a rear fang colubrid, not a rat snake.. But if you mean it that way, then i bet they are.. Ones at our local zoo take down jumbo rats and are around 9ft.. Monsters.. nice lookin male, can't wait til mine are adult size..

Yeah, I know what you mean...just taking my shot at the old nomer "chickensnake". Mine are getting bigger, though not probably a little more than 6' long. Just when yours get this size or larger, be careful not to get bitten in a feeding response...it's hard going to the hospital and telling them to keep an eye on you cause you don't know how you'll react after a 5min chewing, and that there isn't any real treatment for it. REAL fun experience, I don't recommend it to anyone.
