In my 29 gallon tank, a 60 watt bulb makes it about 81 on the bottom on the hot side. I have been told to use a regular light bulb or basking light, then a infrared at night, but i've also been told that the brightness of the bulb would scare the snake into his hiding spot al the time, and to use an infrared all the time? Anyone have any experience on this?
