How would I go about finding a tiger salamander?Should I check near streams or in the woods?Any particular plants they are fond of?

Its a little late in the year to find tigers unless you dig one up or find a pond with larva in it.
The best time of year to find tigers is when the breeding migration occurs which can be as early as January in some areas.
