How to heat this cage

LeprdGeckoGuy Jun 07, 2004 08:31 PM

This is a cage I am working on for my leopard geckos and I am having a hard time heating it. It has got a wooden base sides and top. I have cut a whole in the top right where I will put 2 ceramic bulbs but I live in Syracuse New York so heating is crucial. Any ideas on how I could increase the temp with products that can be safely used in a wooden cage would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
Erik

Whata re you housing in here? You can use a human heating pad right in the cage set on low and that will do good, or you can get some heat tape and a piece of 1/4 or 1/2 inch plexi to put it on and set that in the cage. or just add more bulbs.

The next time the shuttle lands, lets all get dressed up in ape suits and charge at the astronaughts yelling and ranting. That way they can try to figure out where they took a wrong turn.
