Hello,
I am from Canada and have just recently brought what I beleive is from the phrynosoma platyrhinos family. A few questions to anyone whos experienced in raising them as I dont want these lil guys to die.
1)When they poop I understand it should not be moist but what about the contents of the poop looking much like the ants in original form? Does this mean the ants are a wrong type or indicative of anything else?
2)I was told that the sand can be harmful to them when eating but I am using 100% natural dessert sand is this true?
3)They love to be picked up and pet but is this harmful to them to do so on a regular basis?
I will include pics next time. I believe I have a male and a female. Someone help?!?!
