>>I have nevr had a bearded dragon, and in a few months I hope to get a pair. Could someone tell me exactly how much to feed them what. I have read several care sheets that say to feed a few small meals a day. Does this mean til it is full or what? And how often to feed the veg. or crix. In other words a good feeding schedule that works well.

At what age are these pair? If they are youngsters, start them off with crix only, followed by leaving a bowl of greens available. Only feed them what they'll eat within a span of ten minutes, and only feed prey the distance between their eyes. If sub-adult or older, try other prey like newly shed mealworms and soft waxworms (though only use waxies as an occasional treat). It's quite obvious when they turn up their noses to a meal.
As far as greens go, dice up the greens to fit the size of the beardies mouth (just like the prey), and make sure to include various fruits and vegetables. Remember to change out the bowl every day to get rid of un-eaten vegetable matter. You can try pellets, but mix them in with the standard greenery to make them more pallatable.
There is a web-site out there entirely devoted to beardie nutrition (Melissa Kaplan's is excellent) and calcium-dusting frequency, and they need to be followed. Some greens are not beneficial at all, and there are some that can even be very harmful to them. Just do a Google-search for bearded dragon nutrition, and you should be fine.
