people when you start talking about the red babies you want to breed and how much you can make off them, that your dragons are TOO young.

It was 5-6 months old in February, so its only 9-10 months now. I hope when you said a few months, you mean like 10-14 months and you are paying attention to all the advice that has been given you by people who understand breeding and caring for bearded dragons.

I again suggest that you do a little more research about these animals, their needs (whats best for them, not you) and a little less obsessing about wondering what good you can get out of or how much you can sell babies off dragons that are little more than babies themselves.

We do remember the questions you asked and the responses you were given. It seems you have decided to ignore the advice you were given which is not against the law, they are your dragons and you can do what you like with them however.... Do not be surprised when you have problems down the road with infertile clutches, health problems with the babies and the mother etc.

Like I said, they are yours and no one can stop you but I would advise against breeding too young. I personally waited 2 years for mine and it paid off. She laid 6 clutches this year in which not more than 1 bad egg in any given clutch.

Good luck & I hope you use some judgment before you let them breed.

judging from your post and those that were posted in response to it, not only are your dragons too young, but perhaps you are to young to be getting in to this sort of hobby....or business....or pastime, or however you plan to treat it. Granted, people mature at different rates, so it's not always age that's the pertinent criteria.

The language in your post, although certainly not criminal or even offensive, gives me the impression that your are driven by what you perceive to be the "coolness" of it all. It's the rare individual on this board that tosses the sort of braggadocio around that you did ("payin top dollar" and it smacks of someone that's in it for something other than the love of the species and the process.

Please for the health of your animals, listen to these knowledgeable people. You'll be glad you did later. Thanks.
