Mixed Locale Eastern Kings...

Keith Hillson Jun 08, 2004 12:03 AM

I have really come to appreciate mixed locale Kings or unknown locale Eastern Kings. I used to be of the thinking that only locale Easterns were worth having or looking at. Fact is there are too many nice looking non-locale animals out there to ignore them. Check out the linked image below to see some from my site and posted below here are some cool looking Mixed locale animals that arent on my site (yet).

This is a young 2001 hatch female. She should be ready to breed next season. Her Dad is my old Monmouth Eastern King .

im a big fan of that particular cross. i like the white of the NJ chains, but i love the deep purple-black scales of the NC easterns. my NC male is a very purple snake with neon yellow chains; id like to mix him with either a MD or NJ female and see what happens. has anyone crossed between thick chained and thin chained easterns?

This is a 2oo2 hatch male produced by Ted Thompson. He is a great looking snake and should be ready to go next year (maybe with the NJ X NC female posted here ???)

Keith, from reading many posts it appears you have quite a diverse group of Eastern Kingsnakes. Are their many kings being maintained in your collection that you have been able to pair up by locale?
