>>You have been posting some wonderful pics over the last few days, Marcel.
Congrats on some beautiful, if somewhat confusing, hatchlings.

Im so jealous of your bairds Jimmy I just contacted VA reptile rescue and got a 5 foot male. There sending me paperwork out tommorrow. My wife is gonna kill me.I figured rescuing a snake might get me some mercy from her but im getting the silent treatment. And theres nothing wrong with that either.A bonus.hehehehe
>>I just had three new snakes arrive today and my wife has been giving me the silent treatment too.
Man it's been a peacefull evening...lol
I got an '02 stripe creamsicle male to go with my female and a pair of cinnamons ('03 male and '02 female).
For most of you who will be wondering....Cinnamons are basically hypo corn/emoryi.
I guess hypo creams so-to-speak.
I got these from Stephen Roylance.

Congrats. The VA reptile rescue lady called me last night and told me the bairds is a very tame beautiful snake. She said he was a joy to take out and handle and fed well.Im getting a little pumped up.I have to fill out some paperwork and send in a little mula and hopefully soon will have the little bugger. If he is half as good looking as yours I will be pleased. There is nothing more exciting than a new arrival, pipping or via fed express.
By the way I got what I call the list of demands from my wife for getting another snake. You know those nice subtle hints that will cost you 10 times more than a damn snake or ruin a weekend.
New glass frames 300-400 dollars
Haircut 65 smackers
New York style rasberry cheesecake.20 bucks.
Im gonna have to resort to buying my snakes in bulk so I get my moneys worth.
>>It looks like we are going to have just about everyone here interested in bairdis.
They are great snakes. You won't be sorry!
Yeah, I still have a pair of butters I am supposed to get and there's no telling what those will "cost" me.
It will be a lot more then the asking price I can tell you that...lol
I am going to have to take some new pictures...all of mine are reruns. but here are a couple anyway.

Jimmy's bairds are contagious.lol.I have to admit! I got a lot of slack from the mrs too and I'm supposedly cut off from buying anymore snakes in the 04 season.lol....I guess the bairds put me over the top.lol. I did not realize that bairds are so different depending on what locale they're from...I saw some pics of bairds that are tan in color while the ones I got are silvery....I can't thank Terry Parks enough for my bairds...all ate for the first time recently without a hitch...what a relief...if i get one more problem feeder I'm likely to lose my mind.lol. Anyway, they're such a fascinating species...I can't wait to post pics in the next few months as they undergo their transformation....oh and also, is stephen roylance the person who bought most of walt smith's collection?

My bairdis were a silvery/blueish/greyish when I got them....LOL
I hope to get new pics of as many of my snakes as I can, this weekend. The bairdis are really looking good. I just hope I can capture their true colors when I photograph them. It can be hard to get accurate photos of them sometimes.
I don't think Stephen is the one who bought Walt's collection.
I could be wrong though. He didn't say anything about anyway.
I do know he has been breeding corns for about 14 years now and has some beautiful snakes.

It is so difficult for me to capture accurate pictures of my snakes as well. I have a hard time with lighting. Anyway, I could have sworn I emailed someone awhile back that had bought a large portion of Walt Smith's collection shortly after he took a temporary leave of absence from herps....now that I'm thinking about it...I'm probably wrong but I can't remember who it was that bought most of his project corns.?????????? Maybe he'll jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.
Sincerely,

Marcel, I think your 04 hatchlings may even be bigger than my 03 bloodred...it must be the water in Holland.lol
My little girl refused for the 2nd week in a row....not worried though since she randomly goes off feed for weeks at a time.

Jason,
She sure is a nice bloodred. But indeed she is a bit smalled than my 03 corns. Some are at breeding size allready LOL... Without powerfeeding I might add. All of them feed once every 7 days and I purposely skip each and every one a week now and then. But they allways feed for me. Even in shed.
