My nephew just went to college and I adopted his box turtles. My nephew had a rehab for injured turtles and these are the ones that were not returned to the wild. (They are healthy now.)I know that in my state, it is illegal to keep more than one of a species of box turtle. Does anyone know how hard it is to get a permit to keep them? Deb

Depends on the state. Can't give you more info than that if I don't know the state.
