Bush sidestepped opponents (including the EPA) to open "Free access" to the U.S. to Mexican truckers.

The impact of a large amount of trucks and truckers that will be avilable, will cause severe damage to The U.S. trucking industry, not to mention placing a lot of trucks with drivers who are not familiar with American trucking and traffic regulations on our roads.

Boy I'm glad I retired from trucking....

Bush is such a sap! Didn't he give all those ILLEGAL immigrants a free pass to work here?

I'm from Arkansas, and in the past few years, I have seen a HUGE flux of Mexicans seeking job opportunity's here.

Sometimes I do heating & air installation with my brother n law. He goes to many job-sites. I have been on a few with him where almost all Mexicans where hired to do the roofing, framing, bricking etc. Well only one of the 15-20 Mexicans spoke English.

I cant begin to tell you how frustrating it is, not being able to ask some one the simplest of questions, not to mention HOW DANGEROUS that could possibly turn out. Especially on a construction site.

They should have a chance to work, and feed their family, but if cost an American their job, because they will do it fro a few bucks cheaper, that helps no one!

And if you CANT SPEAK ENGLISH...

YOU HAVE NO GOT-DAMN BUSINESS WORKING IN THE U.S.

Plus, I heard that some of the Mexican trucking companies are actually owned by US businesses. So, now they have cheap labor and they dont have to fully meet any kind of environmental standards. The amount of trucks that will be entering the US wont have that much of an environmental impact, but if its just an American company anyway they should have to go by the same standards. My god, Bush is such a moron.
