Yeah!! 1st egg pipping this morning.

Passport Jun 08, 2004 07:24 AM

Looks like a het albino saying hello at 6am this morning. 50 days incubation and now all the eggs have some indentation and preparing for hatching. I have enjoyed the whole process and find all of it satisfying. Mother of this clutch is dark phase Brooksi. She is dark brown and beautiful. Father is lavender albino and very handsome. Thanks to all of you on this forum for all your help and patience. I'll post more pics after hatching.

The temp ranged between 82-83.5. My female didn't lay for almost 2-1/2 weeks post shed. The veins in the new eggs appeared quite well developed and well into incubation. I don't know if that helped to shorten the incubation time or not.

More pictures!!!

It's great hearing about others' eggs hatching, helps the waiting and WAITING until my own eggs hatch... if ANY of them do! (URGH!)

Glad to know I was right when I said earlier to prepare yourself for baby snakies.

Very nice. They should be some interesting hatchlings. I would like to see what the next generation looks like.
