This 300 gram girl was first photographed in late March, top picture. She finished her second shed today, the first was completely normal. I know this is at least the second instance of this happening this year, but it is still really cool.

I have a snake that did that to a much lesser extent. It is pretty cool, that snakes look like a nice axanthic. Keep us updated on what comes about with that one. Wondering if it will go back to normal with the next shed.

Freaks you out doesnt it? I know of seven here in Miami alone that did that. One was a het albino........we have no clue what causes it?
They get ugly after a few sheds...they get alot of the brown mixed with black in and get really dark but weird looking. Kinda calicoish. Has happened with babies and witha adults.
Neat stuff
.
I was just wondering if she goes back to normal coloration or not. Because I have a male that reached 1,000 g, went into shed, and got paler for each consecutive shed for about 4 sheds. Now he's really pale, all grey blushing, kinda cream-colored back patterning, and super pale sides. So, I try to keep an eye out for other snakes that do that, lol. I'm gonna start trying to prove him out very soon.
