Sean, with all due respect I did not know this was all personal. As you recall I never stated I found them but that others did. The only 2 I saw in the wild was one DOR and one I could not get to.
I stated to you in e-mails I have no pics of those particular herps found by others but in my hands for a spell. Actually I have only recently given digital pic taking a serious attempt. I apologize if this does not sit well with you.
Now on the herps I am told one of them is no longer alive as I as well as another could not get it to feed. I returned it to its finder after stating the difficult time I was having and it was stated as such they wanted the herp back. I believe I mentioned all this to you as well and you also agreed with it better off being released. It was my hope it would be returned back to the wild but it was not and I was infomed it perished. I actually could not get either too feed and returned the other back quicker to the other finder as well focusing my time more with CB individuals.
I have e-mailed the other individual as to the outcome of this herp as well and it is my hope it had started feeding in captivaty as many disagree with the returning to the wild of any herp once in captivaty. I was lashed on that as well by 2 others because of the request I made for them to be released.
I have also been informed YET another king has been come upon by one of the previous individuals that found one of the two. This guy though is a hots keeper and does not give much thought to these kings. I mentioned to post here and he unfortunately scoffed at the idea.
Although I have been working with herps for over 30 years I'll keep my focus on CB. I was very disappointed with the outcome of those 2 WC so I tried to not be so public about them since my control of their final destiny was limited.
I hope this clarifies the issue for you and if you would like to discuss this issue in more detail feel free to contact me directly or see me at any of the larger Florida shows. We attend them all so feel free to say hello.
Best Regards, Richard Hebron
