Hello,
We have a new 65 gallon tank for our beardies and are looking for some kind of a desert background for the back of the tank to complete the setup and create a 3d effect. Does anyone know where we might be able to find a desert mural, poster, 3d wallpaper or nice print to complete our setup? I have llokied around on the net and seem to have trouble finding one that is 4 ft wide by approx 18" tall. I have found a real nice one but it is 15' x 8 ft which is just a bit too large. Someone must have used something like this in the back of their tank so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would think a decent aquarium/reptile pet shop should have something like you're looking for. In my shop I have both a plastic background on a roll with desert scape on one side and tropical forest on the other. I also have heavy paper ones with several different desert scapes. These are readily available backgrounds.

Unlike the person in the other reply, I can't find nice ones anywhere nearby, so I know how it is for you. I live in a big city, but all the petstores I've looked in only have backgrounds made for aquariums, with coral or underwater plants pictured on them. Not really appropriate. I just can't find a good desert scene!

I'm gonna order some of those from reptiledirect next time I get a chance, too.
