sick corn......please help!

my little brothers snow corn snake has weird nicks/abrasions all over its body and face...
we did a thourogh cleaning and have been putting anti bacterial cream on him.
what are these cuts and is there anmore i can do for the snake?
he is so well tempered and hasnt eaten in a couple weeks!
please help!

You sure they aren't mites? Look carefully to see if those little nicks move. If not it could be some sort of skin disease and will require you to take it to a vet. I would recommend taking it to a vet regardless.

My first thought when I read your post was a live mouse did the damage. What size is the snake, and do you ever feed live mice?

Other than that, my other thought would be something sharp or abrasive inside the enclosure. What type of bedding are you using? What decorations are inside the enclosure?

Can you post photos of the nicks/abrasions? Its hard to diagnose without seeing them. For most minor, external wounds you should be able to use Betadine or Neosporin to facilitate healing and prevent infection. Be sure to keep the snake in a sterile environment on paper towels or newspaper. Good luck!
