Help with egg!

clownsox Jun 08, 2004 01:35 PM

I have 2 eggs right now incubating at 80 degrees. One of them is sweating. They are only 13 days old and both looked fertile when candled. I am incubating the way albey says on the web site. I know they sometimes sweat before hatching but its only been 2 weeks. Do I have to much moisture? Please help.

13 days is way too soon for those eggs to be hatching. I would guess there is too much moisture, so I would reduce it just a touch if you can. Just enough to keep mold from growing on them. If you do have some mold starting, I've heard sprinkling a little foot powder on them helps out, but I've never had to do it myself. Let us know what happens!
