egg laying box. HELP QUICK PEOPLE!!

my female might be looking for somewhere to lay her eggs. will it be ok for me to get some soil from outside and make it a little moist for her to dig in? it has no chemicals on it or anything but i wasnt sure. i need to know as soon as possible as i live in england and its too late at night to get anything else.

If it's your only possibility and you think she is going to lay, it's better then nothing. But it could cause fungus or bacteria problems.
If she hasn't done anything by tomorrow I'd go buy some clean dirt and mix it with a bit of sand.

get some soil and peat moss asap. I use peat moss since I was told that it actually helps fight fungus and bacteria.
