Thats a fine looking pine snake. I didn't realize that there was a hypo being produced from Alabama locality stock. Very cool!

I remember there was an article in the old Reptile and Amphibian magazine about the locality color variations of bulls across their range, one of the better articles I had seen in a popular magazine. Your pic reminded me of that article, thanks.

I still have that issue. You're right, that is an excellent article. I believe its by Jonathan Wright and goes into some of the northern locality bulls, most notably from Alberta.
