My red-cheeked mud turtles mated! I have some questions

caecilianman02 Jun 08, 2004 08:37 PM

How long is the gestation?

What temperature do I incubate the eggs at?

How long until they hatch.

Sure, I know a lot about their natural history and care, but this happened pretty quickly...

The gestation is typically 5 weeks, but the eggs can be held up to 3 years. They should be incubated at anywhere between 75 - 85 degrees best results at 80 degrees.
