Maybe it's whatever the heck a causes classic jungle on top of a pastel jungle? Not sure that explains the solid black though, very nice!
Thanks for the replies everyone. I assure you those are the natural colors on that one; no editing was done. I'm not sure what's going on with it, but it seems dramatically different from it's siblings. The father is a NERD lemon line and he has produced four pastels this season. The mother is a normal. Three pastels produced by him are nice but the one in the photo I posted above is really killer. The colors and contrast are amazing and the head pattern is lavender. The normals also have a strange orange look to them and are lighter than any normals I have produced. Here is a shot of his sister that hatched earlier today. I'll get more photos once they all come out of the egg.
