Wild Pastel Hatching

Chris DeLay Jun 08, 2004 09:42 PM

This is my second clutch of pastel jungles to hatch this season and this little one really stands out. It looks like a completely different snake compared to it's siblings. Almost glowing...

Thanks,

Maybe it's whatever the heck a causes classic jungle on top of a pastel jungle? Not sure that explains the solid black though, very nice!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I assure you those are the natural colors on that one; no editing was done. I'm not sure what's going on with it, but it seems dramatically different from it's siblings. The father is a NERD lemon line and he has produced four pastels this season. The mother is a normal. Three pastels produced by him are nice but the one in the photo I posted above is really killer. The colors and contrast are amazing and the head pattern is lavender. The normals also have a strange orange look to them and are lighter than any normals I have produced. Here is a shot of his sister that hatched earlier today. I'll get more photos once they all come out of the egg.

Thanks,
Chris DeLay
