These guys are protected in the state of Texas. I couldn't believe it when I showed it to the park ranger and she asked why I didn't keep it. He sure is cute though huh?

Check out the lecture I got in "snakes: what kind" i just thought that this snake looked lighter and didn't have a good diamond pattern so I asked for some other opinions on an ID. Thought maybe mojave but now I'm certain it's an atrox.

Nice Pic. By the title I am guessing that this isn't a picture of you and your venomoid out for a nice walk in the desert
Cool stuff, I'd love to learn how to do it. Looking forward to seeing some more pics of your anaconda.

LOL wirehair. Judging by the lectures I've been getting in the "snake: what is it" forum I am probably not the teacher you want. I can still say that I have never been bitten or envenomated by a venomous snake. Most of the people lecturing me have been bitten so I guess it's my perogative as to how I handle the venomous snakes I run across.
Glad you liked the pic and I am working on some more conda pics for your viewing pleasure. lol I am posting some of my older ones to I get some new ones taken. so here's another one.
