I feed mine tropical fish food flakes mostly. sometimes dog/cat food or orange slices. I keep them at mostly room temperature or 70-80degrees but during the winter i kept a hot pad under their tub to run for about 8 hours a day.

I started with 30 and it took about a year but now i have HUNDREDS of them.

You’ll need to feed orange head a high protein food such as dog food. They are horrible wing bitters if they don’t get enough protein. I keep my roaches hot. I try to keep them in the high 80s low 90s for best breeding results.

Orange heads are a great breeding non-climber. I keep mine at 90 plus and they do great. I do not use sunstrate in an of my roach bins as it takes to much time to pick out all the nymphs. I just use multiple egg crates. I feed oranges, apples, or carrots every 2-3 days. I blend my own mixture of cat food, fish flakes, oats, and other stuff for protien. I also use cheap water crystals because they are mess free and a great water source. All my reptiles each roaches and they are the best feeder bugs.
