Whats the best way to get rid Of MITES.......

So I "lost" my beardie..come to find out she burrowed in her cage outside and has been underground (huge relief)...i dug everywhere for her but i missed her i guess...anyways i think she might have mites now because she is jumping in her water bowl and scratching her head with her feet and the bowl...are the sprays i see good or what do i do...thanks...

I've never had to deal with them, but I do remember someone saying to get NIX from the drugstore, mix with water and give the dragon a soak. You can also clean the tank and furnishings with it.
I don't know the percentage to mix, maybe someone else does.

I had to deal with them once with the snakes. My vet gave me some stuff (i don't remember the name sorry). I had to mix it with water, i think it was a couple cc's to a quart of water ???? anyway it worked great. Guess what i'm getting at is check with your vet, they'll probably have something they can get you. I've also heard that some of the over the counter stuff works alright and some doesn't but i can't remember which was which, sorry.

That Nix stuff is used for head lice.

The least harmful that I know of and use on many new comers is

Reptile Relief ! Do a search and just read about it. Make up your mind. It is also being looked at for human use on head lice.

Many of the others, are very good, but can be harful to animal as well as kill of all your feeder bugs, for days.
