The next meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Turtle and Tortoise Society will be June 12th, at the Benjamin Banneker Museum in Oella, MD, outside of Catonsville. Chris Swarth, director of the Jug Bay Wetland Sanctuary, will be discussing "Wanderers and Stay-at-Homes: Radio-tracking Box Turtles at Jug Bay". This study has been on-going for several years and involves dozens of native turtles at the sanctuary, and I believe some of the data is very surprising.
