my female is gravid. i have placed a box in her viv for her to lay her eggs in and she has started digging. in the box i have placed fresh, moist peat for her to burrow through but when she does this it is going all over her face and she is licking it off and stuff. will this be ok because i dont want her to suffer impaction or anything.she seems to be happy enough but i just wanted other peoples opinions.

Ya she'll get dirty for sure. Just give her a nice long bath after she's done.
