I NEED HELP FAST....PLEASE RESPOND!!

windyj420 Jun 09, 2004 04:36 PM

I have 2 eggs, I have posted a couple of times over the past 3 or 4 days. My question is I have 1 that I know is fertile and started to hatch Sunday. It stopped at the deflating process and that is how it is now. I dont want to give up hope, but what are the chances? And also, I want to try and cut it open, i know the risk but I think it might not have survived and I want to know. I hate to think she is just sitting in there waiting. How do I go about doing that? PLEASE HELP!!!!

If the gecko started to hatch on Sunday and is still in the egg there is a very good chance that he didn't make it. I would open the egg myself and find out. Just be very careful opening it. Don't use any sharp objects. I have had to open one myself before, I just grabbed 2 pieces of the egg with my fingers and slowly ripped it open.

Just be VERY VERY careful. Good luck with him, I hope he makes it.
