Huge Salmon Litter Born Today

summitreptiles Jun 09, 2004 05:09 PM

This litter was from a Super Salmon Male to a Pastel Female and I couldn't be happier with the result. These babies look just their father. There was a total of 38 Live Salmon Babies, 3 Dead & 4 Pills. Not too bad for her first year!

I also wanted to say Congrats to everyone that has had litters this year. It seems like just when you think that nothing else can happen someone has another Awesome litter! Keep up the good work everyone and hopefully this is just the begining of things for Boas.

Jeremy, the Female came off of the old Herp Auction for $125.00 Unfortunately when I got her, her top lip was destroyed and she had a huge abscess on top of her nose from rubbing it. But I lanced it open and pulled the abscess and she has not rubbed it since, but I don't think she will ever have a normal face again. Anyways the Male is one of Rich's finest. Or at least one of the Finest I have ever snuck out of there.

That female is INCREDIBLE. VERY NICE NORMAL. (if you want to even call her a normal. I would say PASTEL for sure. I bet she would make some AWESOME arabesques, motleys, jungles... etc... Those type of Common females are SUCH a good asset to a collection. They will throw some INCREDIBLE animals just like the salmons you had. You can then use them for some of your foundation bloodlines, and everyone will want them. I wish I had a TON of normals that looked like that. Thanks for sharing. Glad the lip came around. I had the same problem with a female Het. It hasn't seemed to effected her since I lanced it and got the infection out. Take Care, Jeremy
