new hide box idea

irishmanhoe Jun 09, 2004 07:02 PM

Just thought I'd post something about my new hide box idea. LOL I've been using baseball hats as hide boxes. They have small openings perfect for balls so that they get a sense or security. Just a cool addition to my setup. Any one else have any intersting hide boxes?

How funny! I was just searching the net for rock caves and now I think I'll use my NYPD cap!

Thanks!

I'm using a plastic igloo looking thing I bought at the pet store. I think it's for rabbits or guinea pigs. Gypsy loves laying curled up on top of it. Haven't had it very long, but so far she seems to like it.

I use the box my BigApple thermostat came in. Out of the 7 different hides I have for my BP two of them are the boxes and he uses both of them the most. The others are 2 clay pot bases, a molded rock looking plastic thing and two humidity hides made out of glad disposable containers. I know, I know, overkill.

My Heineken 12 pack card board case seems to work fine.
