Tiny baby anole-how do I feed it?

Ryan Shackleton Jun 09, 2004 11:53 PM

I work at Wal-Mart in Iowa, and someone in the garden dept. found what looks like a baby brown anole-anout an inch long. Do I just get tiny crickets or something else? We had a recent shipment of plants from Florida so I'm pretty sure an egg hitchhiked in the soil or on a leaf. Just wondering what he should eat, I've seen crickets as big as this lizard.
Thanks for any help
I'm also doing searches but thought I would post here as well-I'm used to lizards that can actually eat a full sized cricket.

Wingless fruit flies (Drosophila hydei) or the smallest pinhead crickets you can find will work. The closer to newly hatched the better.
