egg help

JBrowning333 Jun 10, 2004 09:28 AM

i think my mexican hognose snake is gravid and she is really opaque and i am not sure how to incubate the eggs. i have a hova-bator incubator and i know that ur supposed to keep them at 82F (or so ive read), but do you leave the lid on the deli cup? if so how do they get the humidity? (it says in order to keep it humid i pour water into these trays at the bottom)

poke a few holes in the deli cup and set them up at the right temp with the water in the bottom. Make sure to put the incubator where it will not be bumped around and then wait. And soon enough with a little luck you will have some yongens slithering around. ps put the eggs on some sort of water holding material such as vermiculite. scott
