I just got a baby ball from AAA reptile supply. She's beautiful but seems to be rather apt to strike at me. My first ball is and always has been so laid back that I'm worried about the new baby. Will she cool it, what can I do? Thanks in advance.

Give her time to settle in... let her check out her new surroundings for a week or two before you try handling her. Make sure you have the temps and humidity correct and she has a hide or two that she bearly fits into. Give her some time and she should calm down.

I had/am still having this same problem with my juvie. When I first got him he struck at me every time i got near him. Since then he has held down several meals, and I have left him alone for the most part. I slowly work in a few minutes of handeling every week. the important thing to do is not to flinch when he strikes. If you dont react when he strikes, he will learn that him striking at you is a waste of energy. He'll settle down
