Learn to Probe

cmh7s Jun 10, 2004 01:24 PM

Anyone know a place in northern virginia that can teach me to probe my snake. I'd like to go somewhere where I won't have to pay--low on dinero. I am tired of being told one thing and then another about its gender. Thanks.

Theres a good video out on sexing and probing snakes.

It teaches you how to probe bp's and how to pop them too.

I am sure a google search will find it for you, I forgot where I bought mine from.

I have heard of Dr. Seward's video before. However, I am curious (for those of you who have seen the video), would you feel comfortable probing or popping a BP just after watching the video? Do you think one will have all of he knowledge needed to sex the snakes just from watching the video, or do you think it is necissary to have someone with experience teach you? Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Dr. Scott Stahl will probably teach you, he is top of the line.

Thanks. I've made an appointment for this saturday. I just hope my new baby won't be angry at me forever for uprooting her life yet again (see previous topic, angry snake) but at least my yearling will be cool.
