digging can go on for a week or more;some just like to dig. Are you sure she's ready to pop? Is she having problems making a hole? does it collapse? you may need more heat and/or moisture.

Use warm water and a toothbrush for cleaning.

Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change.

Also make sure that she's by herself. Some dragons won't lay their eggs until they feel secure (other dragons can make them nervous when they're gravid). Like Beardiedragon said, the substrate she's digging around in should be moist.

I've found that one sign to tell if she's close to laying or not is if she's stopped eating. One of mine digs and digs (for a couple of weeks sometimes) but when she finally stops eating then I know its almost time (a day or two).

Yeah, when the dirt gets caked on it doesnt seem to come off!!

The best thing you could do if give her time, all dragons have different ways of laying that they seem to stick to. If she is not eating but digging like you said she should lay soon. I would also keep the area she is laying quiet until you know her schedule. My dragons all lay different, one lays on the 3rd day everytime and she requires it to be very quiet, she always lays on the 3rd day when Im not around. However one of my other dragons will dig one hole lay and bury her eggs within 2hrs of me putting her in the nest box, whether Im there or not, Im even able to take pics of her and she never cared.

well she hasnt stopped eating so she probably isnt ready yet. i just thought she might be as i can now feel the eggs in her belly very easily and i cant see any way that she could get any bigger. my incubator is set up ready so it doesnt matter when she has them realy.
