Bugs in Incubator

MichHerper Jun 10, 2004 06:01 PM

Dangit, again this year I have little bugs in my incubator. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them? Will they hurt the eggs?

Thanks Jeff

what kind of bugs, small little crawling ones or fruit/drian fly looking bugs? What kind os substrate are you using and where are your eggs kept that bugs have access to them.
I have had problems in the past with the small flies, but they seem to get into only dead or dying eggs, they do not seem to affect good eggs, but on the same token I try and get them off the main group of eggs as soon as I see them. I have also seen the small almost book lice type bugs crawling in and around the eggs, these seem to be related to the moss and do not seem to affect the eggs
I hope this helps
