From my experience local suppliers are almost always cheaper. Factor in the cost of shipping and local is an even better deal.
But if you live too far away from a major city and/or can't haul 4x8 sheets then look at US Plastics, Outwater Plastics, and Tap Plastics. URL's are easily found through google.com.
But be prepared to pay a lot.
I agree with chris & randy on this but also keep in mind that ( atleast here ) local sign shops are asking $175-$200 for the same thing you can get fro ma supplier due to they are going to mark it up75-100% for there handling of it .Where are you located at ? if you give me your state i might can help you out .

My experience with sign shops is that they do end up being a bit more expensive than ordering online w/shipping.
However, once I have told them I'd need 4 or 5 sheets a few of them told me where to drive to get a better deal.
But the sign shops were also very helpful when it came to getting scrap material to practice on. Something I highly recommend when it comes to plastic.
I would appreciate any help!!
