Multi species tank

Corn22 Jun 10, 2004 07:59 PM

I am seriously considreing setting up a multi- species tropical tank and wondering if you had any good advice or animal combos.

I'm going to probably set the tank up in a 20L or a 29 gallon aquarium. I really want to incorporate dart frogs and snakes or lizzards if possible.
Thanks for any advice in advance and tHANK yOU FOR

Theres a lot of posts on this topic and generally the answer is no. Each species will have differnt needs and some of those needs will be sacraficed for other needs for the different animals in that enclosure. Most likley it will just cause unnecessary stress to all of the inhabitants. Just stick to one species.

exactly, especially with frogs as they absorb their enviroment more. If you want to keep more than one animal together try a leopard gecko community, or anoles. Just remember, if one gets sick, you have to seperate them all anyways, and take them all to the vet.
