C. collaris hatchlings

wwwwwells Jun 10, 2004 10:23 PM

This is a not so clear picture of come captive bred C. collaris.
They are about a week old in the pic. I need to work on my flash photography to get indoor shots as good as Eve's.

That little guy in the back is awesome. Are these different parent, Will, or do you think it is the living conditions have changed in the parents??

I have the same lizards as in the past. They have been red in the past I just didn't get pictures of them before it faded.
I have another batch of collaris that aren't red. They came from an awesome female and the male you sent me a couple of years ago. One of the male hatchlings came out of the egg with a messed up eye. I may have to get a patch for his eye. maybe he should be named cyclops. I'll get pictures soon. My dickersonae eggs are starting to deflate so I'll find out soon if they are going to hatch or not. They looked bad in the beginning but I left them alone and they filled out and grew.

that's why I got rid of him LOL...Glad he has fathered some eggs for you. I'd love to see a picture of him. The only other male I kept from that trip was the one that died from a resp. infection early this year...he was crazy blue!
