humidity hide

can the humidity hide be clear tubaware or will thegecko not like it cuz we can see him.

Clear is ok... if it has to be. The geckos would much prefer a place to go and sleep, something a clear one doesn't provide. If you want to keep an eye on the leo try cutting the hole a little bigger in a non-clear one and point the hole towards the front of the cage. This way it's dark enough for the leos but you can still see them inside.

its not that i want it clear so i can see her its just that the clear tubaware is teh only one i found at my house and i just wanted to make she its ok to use clear so that i wont have to go buy some non-clear ones.

What would be a good suggestion to use that's better for the gecko, instead of a clear tubberware container?

I have used old margarine containers that have been washed a couple of time, frozen strawberry containers, as well as some larger clear ones I got at Target that I spraypainted and let sit for a couple of days before giving to my leos. Almost any container about those sizes will work.
