those crystals that you add water to to produce the gel cubes like they use for watering crickets? I know you can get it at home and garden places I just haven't a clue what the name for the stuff is....Anyone know?

This is the stuff that water bites are made of.
Alot cheaper the buying from the pet store.

James Tu tells me that it'll make somewhere between 32 and 60 gallons of bites from 2lbs. Depends on how much polymer you add to the gallon of water.
