Question re: morphs and patterns

happycrook Jun 11, 2004 01:19 AM

My hubby and I were having a discussion.... what does a "basic", "normal" corn snake look like? Is there a particular pattern or morph associated with what could be considered an "original" breed/pattern/morph? I know I'm probably not describing it correctly but this is the only words I came up with in my pea-size brain! roflol

We were just curious and I know we may be just plain crazy but thanks for reading!

Hi Becki,
a Basic, Normal, or Classic corn refers to what a wild caught or wild type corn snake looks like. Picture here is a wild caught corn snake from Northern Collier County FL. An area that I beleive to have some corns that rival any wild caught Okatee locality corn.
I hope this helps
