You cannot upload pics onto the forum they have to be uploaded already and then you 'link' them to your post. This is what you need to do:

1. get an account with the Kingsnake Photo Gallery. You can upload pics into the gallery by following the directions there.

2. To link the picture to your post you need to have the URL Address for the picture...So you have the full sized picture open in the gallery, right click on it and go to "Properties", you want to copy the "URL/Address".

3. From here you'll want to post it on the forum. So start a new post as usual, before and after your image URL you'll want to put the the following brackets *change out ( ) for [ ]*:

(img)http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/20815sahara14.jpg(/img)

and you'll get:

You need to small the pics down then...easy enough.

Open the pictures in Paint (It comes with Windows and can usually be found under Acessories)
1. Go to 'Image' and click on "Attributes". Make sure 'units' is on pixels. You will want to change width to 640 (height should be under 480pixels. If height is the larger of the numbers then change it instead to 480 and width)
2. Click "save as" under 'File' and save it as a JPEG.
3. Check the file size by right-clicking the file and going to properties. It needs to be under 250K. If it's still too big reduce the height to 320 pixels.

If you have Photoshop (any version) or any another fancier image software you'll want to go to 'Image', 'Image Size':
1. Change Width to 640 pixels(height should be under 480pixels) and change the dpi to 72
2. Save as a JPEG
*This is how I usually save my photos and you shouldn't have a problem loading them anywhere on the web as it makes them pretty small files!*
