i just found someone that was housing two frills (cleary over a year old... I would say they are both around 1 year and a half...
I believe one to be male and one to be female (the male is significantly larger than the female)
well it seems as thought this person has not been taking good care of the frills... other than providing a good enclosure... but now they are tooo big to both live in there (plus if one is male and one female we know what other problems can arise)
it also seems as though the male has dominated the female... and take most of the crickets that are fed to them...
the female looks tired... and lazy...
the owner feeds them every so often ( not daily... he claims they dont eat daily... but only like twice a week) and he only feeds them crickets... thats it...
what do you guys think... should I take the female off his hands and give her better treatment ?
what could she possibly have after being under these bad conditions for about a year... ?
would a turn around in health be to much to ask for ? or will it be a quick one ?
what are some things I should look for in the poor frilled ?
one thing I have noticed is the "Female" spends a lot of time at the bottom of the cage while the make is mostly at the top on the vines...
also the female is very edgy and frills at anything...
and when she is hanging out at the bottom... she seems as though her back legs are a lil paralized or stiff... but when she goes to move they move fine... (or they seem too)
ok let me know what you guys think
