neat ig-pool at petsmart

atomic Jun 11, 2004 12:02 PM

Hi everybody,

Just thought I'd share what I saw at PetSmart yesterday. They've got these fabulous "kiddie-pools" that are the perfect size for small to medium ig baths -- about four feet in diameter, and about sixe inches deep (IIRC). Blue plastic, and they look pretty sturdy too. They were $6.99, which is great since I've since kiddie pools elsewhere for twice that.

Woulda grabbed one but we're moving cross-country soon. I'm definitely going to be picking one up once we're settled. Much better alternative to the plastic storage tub Grass currently gets his baths in

I didn't know petsmart sold them, I bought a kiddy pool from toy-r-us that I use.

I was all excited when we adopted Forest because his owners said he loved to swim in their pond (???) so I wanted to get him a pool!

We adopted him in February & there were NO pools to be found. We live in Florida mind you...no pools.

BUT...I did find one at a garage sale for $2 & snatched it up! Now the bad news...Forest HATES it.

ALL he has EVER done is stand or lay & glare at it like it's an interloper in HIS space.

Baths are tolerated, the pool is not.

I hope your iggy likes it when you get it for em.

Post pics!!! I wanna see!

Here's Forest scowling at the pool...

I do love that pic! What a tough guy!

We really have to get a new digital camera. There are way too many funny moments with Grass that I'd love to be able to share.
