i know that the humidity for ball pythons is crucial for the healt and benefit of the snake but i was just curious how most people create their humid hideboxes for their snakes?

Take a tupperare dish (those new glad disposable ones work great), cut an access hole in the lid, fill with damp spaghum moss (i've heard some people use damp paper towels and it works) and that's it!

do you leave it in there all the time?
I only give my Kenyan Sand Boa the hide when he's shedding. For the other snakes, I've only given it to them during a problem shed. But, you can leave it in there all the time if you want. And if your snake uses it you may not need to worry about the humidity in the rest of your tank.
