does anyone know why panther chameleions ane so much more then other types of chameleons?

They have a long incubation time, usually 9-12 months, and in my opinion, are the coolest looking of chameleon out there. I say its worth the money, because they are pretty easy to care for, and keep getting better looking every day. Here is my panther shedding.....
