Book: Biology Of Amphibians

CokeOfMan Jun 11, 2004 02:41 PM

Has anyone here read it? I've heard it is sometimes used for educational purposes in schools or collages or something.
Just looking for a book about amphibians, just to learn a bit more than the basics, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend this book? If not this book, could anyone recomend any other book?

You are referring to the one by Duellman and Trueb? It is a good book but some of it may be a little advanced for the novice.
I would recommend this book for a starter (Natural History of Amphibians by Stebbins and Cohen. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0691102511/qid=1087058884/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_6/002-3454349-0204034?v=glance&s=books

and then getting the Duellman and Trueb text.
