Yes...I have used it successfully on my one and only case of mites on a quarantined new arrival. I used it in combination with Provent-A-Mite and it worked well, especially since you can wipe it directly on a snake whereas you cannot do that with any other product, except maybe sevin dust(?), which I heard works the best but cannot speak from experience. There are lots of options for treating mites these days. With any product, I think you'll get people that say good and bad things about it equally. Just my 2 cents.

i work at a Vet/Pet shop and we use that and Provent-a-Mite. both are awesome. the provent a mite is like black night works well but you have to be SUPER careful with how much you use and how you do it. the Reptile Relief worked WONDERFUL for me. we had a lady come in with a Ball Python that was absolutely COVERED in mites. layed it right on top of my 7' Albino Burmeses cage and he got mites. i took him out soaked him then put the reptile relief on him rubbed it in then washed it off, and put him back in his cage (after it was COMPLETELY cleaned). i came back in around 30mins to check up on him, and i saw little dead black mites all over the cage. i haven't seen any mites in his cage or on him ever since this. so for me it worked great. and recommend both of the mentioned products.

I have not had much luck with RR. I have done a total tank cleansing using RR several times now and the mites still come back every time. I think those of you who are using prevent a mite with RR are seeing the results of the prevent a mite at work.
