I wanted to raise some tadpoles this year and i found an egg mass so i got my chance but they're turning into frogs now and im not sure what they are. when i found the eggs i thought they where going to be wood frogs but these are alot smaller than the wood frog i raised last year from a tadpole.

what you have there is a wood frog

a 10gal damp/terrestrial setup
feed him about 5-6 pin heads every day
if you skip days there is a good chance it will die

is it normal for wood frogs to have dark raised patterns on their backs? i've never seen that on a wood frog before but maybe it will go away. is it strange that the wood frog i had last year was about a big ar a quarter when it metemorphed or do some of them just stay tadpoles longer than others?
